Pryodon.com Game servers

We are running the pre-Aquatica beta version of the ARK: Survival Evolved game servers.

Join our Discord server to chat with the people in our community and for server news. We post updates on our Discord server about what is going on with the game servers.

Here are our current game settings .ini files. Most rates are 2x except for raising babies which is 5x.

You may check the status of maps we are running by viewing the ase-monitor.log. The newest entries in that file are at the bottom of the page!

If you notice that the server is offline or the mods need to be updated you may contact us to let us know what is going on.

NOTICE: We are currently running two Ragnarok maps. The older temporary Ragnarok map with the higher day count will be taken offline later. Do not leave your survivor on that map, or you may lose access to that survivor when the map is removed.

The server rules are pretty simple:

You are responsible for knowing these rules. We are here to enjoy a safe and fun community environment. By playing on these servers, you accept these rules! Admin decisions are to be respected. We can ban you from using the servers! Don't make us do it!

Check the BanList to see whether your Steam ID is currently banned.

The Rules!

  1. NO Bullying, sexism, racism, homophobia, witch hunting, or other hate-based messages.
  2. NO NSFW or obscene chat messages. This includes links to such content!
  3. Political talk: keep it respectful
  4. NO Doxing or sharing personal information.
  5. NO Trolling!
  6. NO SOLICITING!
  7. DO NOT bury foundations in the ground so that they are mostly hidden from view! It is okay if this happens while you are building your base. If you are caught doing this then you might get banned! If you do this by accident and are unable to remove it then tell an Admin the coordinates!
  8. DO NOT build within render distance of another player's base or next to resource nodes. It is okay if you block a few metal nodes from spawning. If we think you are abusing this, we reserve the right to remove your structures!
  9. You are not allowed to spam structures all over the map! Structure spam is allowed within render distance of your own base.
  10. Don't make it so that other players spawn inside your base. If you have a fence, make sure people who spawn inside it can get out.

About our game servers

We are running the pre-Aquatica beta version because it has been much more stable for us. The Aquatica version still has too many crashes and bugs for our liking, so we plan to stay on pre-Aquatica at least until Aquatica is stable enough for regular play.

Structure decay

Structure decay is enabled, but auto-destroy is greatly extended. Different structure types have different normal decay timers, which you can see in-game by holding the H key while looking at your structures. On our server, abandoned structures are not automatically removed until about 10 times their normal decay time has passed without a tribe member rendering them. That means roughly 40 days for thatch and small utility structures, 80 days for wood/adobe/electrical structures, 120 days for stone, 150 days for greenhouse, 160 days for metal, and 200 days for Tek structures. Some special structures may have different timers, so the in-game decay timer is the best thing to check.

Our Maps

These ARK game servers run on a dedicated Linux server with 64 GiB of memory, so we cannot run every map at the same time. However, we can run any map players want to play on for a while. Let us know in our Discord server!

If you enter "pry" into the search box in the session list, our maps should appear unless we are doing server maintenance. We post on our Discord server when we are doing maintenance.

We are planning on having these maps be no-wipe, meaning that we do not plan on wiping these maps. However, abandoned structures will be removed.

The Join map links can be used as desktop URL shortcuts to directly connect to these maps, bypassing the sessions list entirely.

MODS

If you suggest a mod you like, please make sure that it has a Linux version or it will not run on our Linux machine. We are open to using other mods and changing settings. Asking does not guarantee we will add it, but we will consider it.
